LESS is MORE…
That I'm working on right now
Is a Conversation
A history
of flirting..(.with a stranger may be the viewer or a collector !!)It will be presented as a conversation at sticks broken of small paintings 60x81cm (
I think 25/30 Paintings to begin)
"Less is More"
... beyond Cubism ... Construction-deconstruction
My
Ideas What’s Painting?
Painting
I think
painting is a great CONVERSATION, works between
them, painters between them and I have not departed from the tradition because
I think it's the same foundations of the communication between artists
Here are
some examples:
Here are
two paintings by Cezanne,( For me) his latest
paintings structure Announces jasper John structures
Let see
the artworks of jasper john
and here is
my painting
Cezanne Pays :
How am I arrived at
abstraction?
I consider
myself as a descendant of André Lhote who analyzed
many painting and I learned a lot of him .et I always saw an abstraction at the
base of any paint and particularly in cubist abstraction that(
I think) is even the subject of the same”Painting”
( “Tableau” en Français).
The passage from one to the other
was very easy and natural
Kandinsky would have said "a necessity"
Here ( my) the Cubist structure is flexible (I say humanized) by playing a free

shock me a bit: it is neither in the interest of artists,
nor the will of artists to go to back ... the
question of the contemporary artist (2016 to now) is what he has to express and
know what he's talking or wants to talk him,
supposed to be aware of what past
before him, informed of all things past, reflecting on his place in
the world and society where it belongs which is not at all the world lived by
our ancestors and their history .. the
question is: a
Question IDENTITY? ... This identity that fits in our actions, our behavior, our education, which IDENTITY REFLECTION request, and it does not taught in schools, classifications, manners etc
... but exist quite within us ... and our historicity It's
the REFLECTIONS, the conversation that I propose, with the means I
have ... and for that ...I refute if no liturgy no knowledge no discomfort ... in the requirement for
freedom of thought: Think
ART ... art and knowledge, art and humanity, art and society, art ... and
more !! I
especially want not to speak instead of this Identity My painting is speaking for me . |
